I so miss those Knicks team. Now we get 67 to 64 halftime scores when no one gives a crap on defense.Per ESPN, he was in a spat with Dolan. That would not end well for Dolan. Two Knicks I would never mess with, the Oak and the X-man.
Loved the Oak Man when he played for the Knicks but in this case he behaved terribly and was shoved guys who were just trying to do their jobs. It was definitely not a good look for the Oak Man. Patrick Ewing feels slighted by the Knicks but you does see him going berserk when he's at the Garden. PS I hate Dolan and would have loved it if Oak at least got close enough to scare the bejesus out of him.Having witnessed a couple of msg fights in my life, I would guess that the guy he popped was feeling pretty courageous with Garden security surrounding Charles and said a magic word that set Charles off. Not appropriate but sometimes the right thing to do.
That was a dickish, amateurish press release. Half expected Spicer to come out and read it.
Terrible move by the Knicks organization and trust fund baby Dolan, only confirms the fact how out of touch they are with their fan base. Regardless if Oakley was acting inappropriately, so long as there was no physical danger to anyone you do not hash this out in public like this. If Dolan was not born into money I do not think he would be able to make much of himself. But with the Knicks looking bad with no immediate plan of rebuilding only gives SJU a better chance to shine and the NY bball fans something to root for.
Actually, this would be a great move. During his last year in college, Oakley average 24 points and 17 rebounds per game. He could teach our front line on how to defend and box out bigs.we should get him as our big man coach

I used to curse Dolan out every time I had an issue with Cablevision.
Glad he sold Cablevision.
