Changing the Distance of the 3 Point Line?

But, if you watch these NBA playoffs (and I've only seen a little bit of it), the 3 point shot is dominant there, too.

The only way to not make the 3 point shot dominant, IMO, is to eliminate the 3 point shot completely. I've been against that for a long time, but am starting to warm up to it, although I do understand why teams are relying on the 3 ball more and more.
