Change Your Brackets, Fab Melo Ineligible

I'm very curious about the timing of this news coming out on Feb Melo. It seems like too much of a coincidence that this 'news' came out now, and not before Selection Sunday. Anyone remember Kenyon Martin on Cincinnati when he broke his leg and the NCAA tournament committee knocked down (I think from an expected #1 seed to a #2 or #3?). If they hid his bad grades until after Selection Sunday that's a bunch of baloney.

I wouldn't be surprised if Syracuse only 'found out' about these eligibility issues now... If they had disclosed a week ago - is Syracuse a #2 seed? (Even if they earned being a #1 seed by having only two losses all year, it would be sketchy of them if they chose to only disclose the academic issues now)

I'm still hurting from OUR seeding last year after DJ got hurt...yes, the timing of this is very "curious"!
