I cannot go this game as I will be out of town. I'll also be out for Thursday night's game. Let me know if you are interested in my tickets. The only stipulation is that you will not sell them, as I am not looking to sell them now. Just buy me a hot dog at a game! ;)

Hope to attend this game. Looking for better D throughout the game as evidence that Mullin can coach and the team has improved.

Former UCONN star Donyell Marshall will not be coaching CCSU in this game. He, and one of his assistants, remains on administrative leave.

Sources said the investigation is believed to involve a verbal dispute between Marshall and Anderson during a practice before the Nyack game that led to the two coaches coming chest-to-chest a couple of times. It happened after practice with no players around.

I saw one where we are a 24.5 point favorite. That seems a little high.
 
Very accurate article in the post. Not sure we can accomplish much this season without some serious work on the glass.
 
Based on their first two games it looks like that CCSU can score. They have a JUCO transfer from Hutchinson that looks very good. He was a 3 star recruit in high school.

Well, the only other time we played this team, it was a high scoring affair. Maybe we can match it again, tonight.

St. John’s meets Central Connecticut for only the second time
in series history. The previous meeting took place on Nov. 24,
1990 in the championship game of the Lapchick Tournament at
Carnesecca Arena, previously Alumni Hall. St. John’s rolled to a
135-92 victory over Central Connecticut, setting the program’s
single game scoring record. Malik Sealy finished with 43 points
to break Bill Schaeffer’s record for most points by a St. John’s
player at Carnesecca Arena.

We made the elite eight that year so I hope so.
 
Billy Schaeffer was the linchpin of those early-1970s Redmen teams.
 
Frustrating that this is yet another game I'm not able to get on TV. Last game was one thing, but I don't get FS2 at home, only FS1, and it's not streaming on the Fox Sports Go app either.

CC does not suck, St John's just playing really well. Simon is fantastic. Trimble needs a heat check and Yakwe playing some decent minutes.
