I have been at most of our games this season and it dawned on me tonight that I have not seen Lou Carnesecca yet this year. Has anyone seen him this season?

I know he turns 90 on January 5th and at that age it can be quite difficult to get around. I hope that he is okay and is well enough to make it to some games. He is a great person and is certainly an inspirational figure to me and to many St. John's fans. Hopefully all is well with him and that he will be a presence at the arena so appropriately named in his honor.

I know he was at the St. Thomas Aquinas exhibition game. I think I saw him at one other game, too.

Thanks SJU61982 that is good to hear.

I thought that he might have made it to either the Gonzaga or Minnesota games at MSG but I did not see him there or at tonight's game with Niagara. Glad to hear that he has been out and about recently.

He was at the game last night!!

Coach Carnesecca was NOT at the game last night. When he comes he is usually with Ron Rutledge or Brian Mahoney and he was not there last night. Spoke with Ron and he said Coach C is doing relatively well. A party is being planned for his birthday next month.

My wife & I had dinner adjacent to Jack Kaiser & his wife before the game. I got a chance to express my happiness at his recovery. He noted he is doing much better. Great, unpretentious man cut from same cloth as Looie.

Must have been his stunt double.

Where do you go for dinner before CA games now that the Sly Fox is gone?

Louie already has had an operation on one of his legs, unfortunately he will need another operation on his other leg. I was told he has a sciatica problem. Let's all pray for this great man.

Had a Lou sighting tonight. He was sitting in his regular seat in the Southeast corner of the arena. He looked in good spirits and did not look like a man who was about to turn ninety in a few weeks.

They showed him on TV a couple of times and of course there was sweater talk. As someone else mentioned, Zendon Hamilton was joking with Louie at one stage. Did not see Mahoney at his side this evening.

Lou looks a little frail but give him credit from coming to the games.
