Cal State Northridge, Mon. Dec. 5, 6:30pm, FS1/970

Ex-NBA player Reggie Theus is the head coach for CSUN. His claim to fame was jumping for a ball in the air, and colliding with Bernard King, resulting in the latter's major knee injury.

Theus' claim to fame was his starring role in that great TV show "Hang Time"
He was also famous for being first athlete to pose nude. Wonder if it was on that show. ;) :)

And Patrick Ewing in a Knick's uniform

He played a hit man in some show or film. I can't remember.

Here's his imdb page.

I had never heard of that show Mark mentioned before, even though it was on during my formative years. I guess it was a Saturday late morning/early afternoon NBC series, since the reviewer on IMDB compared it to Saved By the Bell: The New Class (maybe the worst TV show ever). Lasted 6 seasons, though it seems like Theus was only on it for 2 or 3.

I'm thinking of Rick Fox, who played Jackson Vahue on Oz.

Fox also guest starred on an episode of The Big Bang Theory. He played an ex-boyfriend of Bernadette's, Howard's wife.

Anyway, we're veering off-topic here, so Go Johnnies on Monday!

Funny thats what I thought of when I read your post. Even though he wasnt a hitman.

Heading into next week, hopefully;

Bigs begin to avoid quick fouls. As limited as they are at this point we need them.

Bashir gets a little time ar the 4 spot & continues his maturation, letting game come to him. Obviously he is our only real scoring option beyond the guards.

The BE rotation becomes clearer.

Two solid wins giving kids confidence, setting positive trajectory for BE play, but really for next season.

Players continue to get back quickly after scores & share the rock like last night on the other end.

Marcus continues to set things up & not feel obligated to do everything. Btw, he & Ponds are obviously very talented & fun to watch. Ponds poise & crafty play is so impressive for a newbie. He proved me wrong re not expecting too much early from him, very solid freshman for sure.

Will enjoy seeing Mullin on handshake line with Jeff N after drubbing my second alma mater, Fordham.
I like Mase's caution on streakiness & never getting too down or too high on the team.

Agree, and also thought mussini looked the most comfortable he has up to this point playing with those guys and in his new role. Has his defense improved? I think so.

And I thought his claim to fame was being the star on one of Tark's final four teams and an NBA all star. ;)

Agree, there's 3 more games against awful teams to work on things and raise their confidence. No more Del St's please!
