Got to hang with Rick for just a moment after the game tonight. Followed Vinny Tatum and he led us right to the bus where Pitino was waiting. He hung out with former staff, former players (Marra, Van Treese, Padgett), and had a couple seconds for us fans too! Still every bit as friendly and classy as when I met him in Louisville in 2009. #goat 🐐

Coming off a win on Sunday against Yukon this one was equally impressive. They tried to get their energy level up but it just wasn’t there for large stretches. Rick was as animated as I’ve seen him trying to pull them out of the fire.

It’s completely understandable coming off an emotional home win against your biggest rival. They didn’t have it tonight and yet still managed to win through grit!

Speaking of that, I’m just glad covid happened during the Mike Anderson era LOL, imagine a pandemic ripping this season away from us

I always feel bad for Dayton for that reason. Obi Toppin gave them their best season in school history and the postseason gets canceled
I disagree. Dayton's best team was their 1967 NCAA Tournament team when they beat NC in the semis and lost to Lew Alcindor's UCLA team in the championship game. Don May was their best player. In the semis, he made 13 straight shots in one stretch and ended up with 34 points and 15 rebounds in beating NC and in the finals, he scored 21 points and 17 rebounds to Alcindor's 20 points and 18 rebounds. Don May was only 6'4' tall.

He didn't get the NCAA championship ring, but got one for winning the NBA championship with the Knicks.
