Finally I'm able to get out of the house for my 1st game of the year. 1st game on campus ever too. Any recruits going to the game?

I've been able to get out but with today's winter storm and snow, not sure I'll be able to get out tomorrow!

Lazy way didn't work so I looked them up myself.

Acquista Trattoria and Iguanas.. Both on Union Turnpike a short walk from SJU.

The former had much better reviews so that's where I'll be with my commander-in-chief before the game tomorrow

Sorry, just saw your question otherwise I would have responded. I went to Acquista Trattoria after the NJIT game at the suggestion of someone on this Board (forgot who otherwise I would give the credit) and it was pretty good. Reasonably priced and good portion. A few staffers from St. John's were also there as was Jack Kaiser.

Don't know about the Mexican place.

Very disappointed in Acquista. Food no more than average. Pricey for what you get. Wait staff second rate. I went once and would never go back. Iguanas much better IMO. Food pretty good and atmosphere nice. Far better option IMO
