Bronny

Here's the latest I could find on Bronny. The one common denominator amongst all the colleges he's been linked too is that they're big state schools with huge NIL money. Even if Repole opens up his checkbook, which believe he is/has, I still think we're going to be using more of a "money ball" mentality compared to the big schools.

Kids gotta eat. :ROFLMAO:

Reviving this...

Cause all of sudden, we are trying to get this 5 star kid on board:

and we are also working on this kid...

We'd have even more to offer than what I mentioned in the OP if those commits land.
Just saying...

LeBron has always secretly wanted to root for a team that plays in The Garden!!

Bronny is severely overrated. There is a huge level of athleticism and will be a good D1 player but he is not at the level of an NBA prospect. He is good but not great and he gets elevated to a higher level because of his name.

I continue to think he is being underrated because people want to believe his value is derived from who his father is. He’s a stud. All though I don’t know about his nba potential but you can say that for pretty much any HS player outside the top 10 or so. Of course he’s not his father, but he’s damn good.

Lebron will draft him as a Laker regardless of what he does...

First of all, Bronny is already getting over 7 million in NIL money. Now if you think Pitino would turn his back on Bronny, you are terribly mistaken. The young man can play. He has proved himself under the most difficult circumstances, being the Son of a Legend, your every move is under a microscope.

Attendance at games would definitely increase. More NIL money would come in and that means more for other players. Some other 4* and 5* players would commit.

Do I think it is realistic to expect Bronny to commit to St Johns, not at all. However, I will never be condescending to a poster for sharing their dream. It’s the off season, nothing much going on and we are all equal on this forum.

Thanks for the lecture 😉

If he wants to ever get out of his dad's shadow, as impossible as that will be, going to a school where dad can't just drop in every time he has a spare hour or two would be a good start.

I'm not even sure LeBron would really do that, but social media has clouded me into thinking he's LaVar Ball 2.0.
