I know we're all waiting for a breakout performance, but five of our guys had four games of college experience. The other four are sophomores. Let's give it a little time. I expect this team will get better every game.

Let's assume every player on our roster was a 5-star recruit on Rivals or Scout.
Let's guess how many wins we'll have.
Let's say we're gonna go 29-1 after we beat Detroit.
Let's say we're gonna go 8-21 after we beat Holy Cross.

He wasn't taken out because of the fact that he can't find a shot.. He was taken out because on 2 plays in a 2 minute span he was late rotating on defense and we gave up 4 points u der the basket. If he's going to pout because he was benched then I'd suggest he make the most of his minutes rather than screwing up. For instance, Balamou who I saw something special in from the get go and now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon was able to make his stamp on games in the time he was allotted. This kid messed up agregiously twice on D and can't figure out a way to move without the ball.

I gotta start DVR'ing games. I want to go back and see. The problem with our defense is one person could miss an assignment and then another player is stuck actually looking worse in terms of rotation. I think that might have been the case with Marco. He's a smart player so an incident like that would be rare to say the least IMO.

Its pure comedy coming on here after games. We lose and the world is ending. If we don't win by 34 its still ending :) What happened to the concept of opening up the paper and seeing a W. I don't care how it happened its done its over we won, we try to improve on deficiencies in next game and move ahead.

At who's expense last night?
Obekpa was not in foul trouble and was playing well.
Karr was on fire
Phil and Dee were their usual self and then it was Dom/Amir and Felix on the defense end.

To be honest I had 2 things dvring(the limit thanks to my gf) and was stuck watching on my iPad albeit live. So I could've missed what exactly happened. I do remember he was stuck rotating under the hoop(looked late) and was scored on both times.
 
amir had a tough game...at his expense...give the kid some PT. its only gonna get worse after sanchez and Branch get here

Fwiw, Lavin commented that he wanted/wants Bourgault to get 10minutes per game at this point. I think that e elevation of Balamou's game has really thrown a monkey wrench into the initial rotation ideas. That coupled with the fact that the game was close, and Bourgault didn't play much. I think he'll get more comfortable with more time on the court. He needs to pick up his aggressiveness and confidence level a bit and he'll be fine. His shooting threat will help us when he finds his spots. It's a different level than JC, so he needs to learn to create a little space for himself and not just rely on wide open ball- reversal screens. It's the Big East now.
 
What was the big hype regarding this kid? He barely gets any minutes and when he does he rarely takes the shot. What gives?

How about we get to mid season before declaring a kid overhyped? If he's good enough, he'll crack the rotation
