Boogie (Days And) Nights

Darling's assist rate is 35%, Boogie's is 30%. Both would be above Deivon and Kadary's.

Ian Jackson's is 7%...
Assist rate for Jackson last year means very little. He played the 3 and was called on to shoot.

It’s not uncommon for players to double or triple their assist rates when role/personnel change.

Desmond Claude doubled his and he was very obviously never a shooter earlier in his career so he had to pass.

No I agree. My point moreso is, why are we questioning Boogie's adeptness to distributing the ball on a loaded team of all things? He would be the one guy with proven experience and results of doing that.

Ian, and very fairly so, you just have to throw out the tape from last year to think of him as a lead guard. I loved the Jaiden Ivey comp from a scout the other day.

Debating over whether we have too many 5 star players already is incredible and would've been unimaginable on this board just a few years ago. I love it.

Personally I think we absolutely should add him if the money is there, and I haven't seen anyone say that the money WOULDN'T be there. I also think there's a realistic shot he returns since he's unlikely to be a first round pick, and just like RJ isn't coming back here Boogie won't be heading back to Arkansas. Put it all together, and there's a real chance we'll be preseason #1.

Remember this post?
I do and Boogie is still focused on the draft.

If Cal really wanted him back his deep pockets pool including Tyson Food owners are deeper than ours and evidence is Boogie enjoyed his time there. However Arkansas has a top notch five star PG and Wagner so they are prepared for next year with or without him.

If Boogie withdraws from the draft and shows he at least has interest in hearing what CRP has to say/offer, at the very least you have to make the pitch.

I do think if Boogie plays college this fall it will be at St. John’s

If White Chocolate goes back for grad school he's absolutely book it 100% going to St John's

And if 1 of you guys think I would go to grad school you are insane. I want to make money not lose it

I agree with Marillac's reasoning.
You are discounting that NC had two terrific guards in E. Cadeau and RJ Davis who, combined, averaged 10 assists per game.

WHY???? HE WONT BE PLAYING FOR US NEXT YEAR!!!!!!
That's it, when he's here next year rocking MSG the crew of 14 others, I'm clowning all you cats that said he wasn't coming.
I'm making a list.

It's gonna be showtime every damn game at MSG. Lights, camera, action.

Watch Rick make this happen.

Yes. CRP will make it happen.
He will contact Knicks management and strongly urge them to move up and draft Boogie so that your fantasy can come true.
Watch out Friends and Fellow RedMen, my Ralphstradamas NBA Draft predictions will be coming out soon.
But only if you Please Stop the Boogie Fantasy. Stick with your Barbi Benton 1975 Fantasy. You will have a better chance.
