He and his wife just sat in front of us two weeks ago.Great Coach. He is a fellow parishioner of Redstorm NC and I. Have enjoyed watching his teams over the years since we moved here in 2011.
In the multiverse, Bob McKillop did wonders at SJU following Jarvis's abrupt dismissal.
Neither the Pittsburgh incident nor the Keita revelations kept him from stabilizing a free-falling program, restoring us to glory and taking us to places we've only dreamed.
I hope Steph and Seth can make it to the Garden for BM's retirement ceremony next year. Would be great to have them, Russell Robinson, Syl Landesburg, Devon Ebanks and the rest of the 2009 national champs back to celebrate coach.
Oh whoops, the portal is closing and we're back in the Norm-al universe.
great memoryBut old fan 61 and bt enabled the great Norm Roberts, 6 stellar seasons of record attendance and a 1 and done NIT bid. Maybe BT and old fan 61 will endorse the cause of renaming Carnesecca Arena to the Norm Roberts pavilion. Just a thought , seriously disappointed we didn’t see a video tribute at the sju/Kansas game for the legend that is Norm Roberts.
Yes I’m sure there is… on his son’s staff at DavidsonAny room for a Gene Keady-esque role...?
I believe that quote was attributed to Ron Rutledge but I could be wrong. But the entire country missed on Steph so that's just a moot point.Thinking about coach McKillop who I had the pleasure of meeting at a few coaches clinics in the past, reminds me of a comment made but a coach on Looie's staff regarding McKillop who stated that McKillop wouldn't be a viable candidate for St. Johns as "he couldn't recruit above 125th street" In a sense he was right, Steph Curry was from North Carolina.

Except McKillop saw his potential and brought him aboard..... so not moot at all. And it was RR who made the comment.
