Blue Uniforms

The all black uniforms were hideous up close, but looked badass from the stands. Somebody brought up a good question, the skyline uniform was unveiled and never appeared, what's up with that?
 
I can live with the blue uniforms, although I don't love them. We're not the "blue storm. " But when we're at home, we should be wearing white. We played one team this year, I forget which one, at CA and they were wearing white, while we wore blue. It was annoying.

It was NJIT and they actually had red and white on, making it even more bizarre, while we wore blue on campus.
 
If they continue wearing blue can they drop red storm and become the bluemen. I don't think it insults anyone and we get closer to our true identity.
 
I personally enjoy when we are playing well enough to discuss the outrage of apparel, so I'll happily chime in: 1) we are not wearing highlighter colored uniforms, thank God. 2) I get confused at the start of some games and try to not root for the away team in red. 3) I'm a Mets fan, this is the only Navy blue I feel ok with. 4) I prefer red and white but I'll wear Syracuse Orange, Hoya blue, and UConn jail outfits if we win
 
i wasnt trying to be negative.....BUT the uniforms and the gear available from the 1998-2001 time period when Jordan was the sponsor were the best St Johns Uniforms ever. I still have the red game shorts...they are beautiful.

the Nike stuff wasnt bad either. Overall Nike does a good job with the design of their stuff so while its a step down from Jordan the gear was still good.

I just think the underarmour is like second rate stuff and the design of the uniforms looks funny to me. The sweat shirt Francesa wore on the air with the "718" on it was cool though - i would like to get my hands on that

I actually disagree with what UnderArmour has created for us. Some of the t-shirts and designs and concepts are the most creative I've ever seen for our brand.

I am not concerned with their uniform color. I just want to score to read a st johns win
 
I like the color scheme but my younger kids have been confused a couple of times this season. I'd rather see the blue being complimentary to the Red/White than an alternative - like my current avatar.
