Binghamton, Mon. Nov. 14, 6:30pm, FS1/570AM-BAT4

Can someone change it to Binghamton? If you want to see a nice arena similar in size to CA see below from today's Cornell game. Finally, Binghamton beat Cornell today without their best player Willie Rodriguez. Not sure if he is going to play on Monday.

Better coach, players than Bethune Cookman, thus a better test for Johnnies. Fine tune things before heading to Minnesota. Man, would I like to see a road win early. That would set a nice tone and instill confidence going forward.

If we lose to Binghamton, it's time to put the balls away IMO

Who suggested that? Just noting Dempsey is a good coach with better players than that horror last night.

Rodriguez has a hamstring injury. Not serious. Not sure if he is going to play.

One game at a time but yeah I'm looking at that Minny game, as the first game to see where we are at.

Every game for a team composed of sophomores and freshman and 2 juniors who never played Division 1 ball is a test of seeing where we are. I refuse to assume we will beat anyone. We must continue to play with as much intensity as possible and improve from game to game. The fantastic thing about this team is that there are 10 players who deserve pt each game and if anyone misbehaves or does not do what they have to there is a talented replacement ready to step in.

How is the Binghamton game a
"campus-site game" for Battle 4 Atlantis ?

I don't see the direct connection

Just an unrelated reminder from Zach B

Have to go .500 in conference for NIT

That's why i said one game at a time. I know there are always upsets waiting to happen.
They are to young to ever look ahead, especially after last year?
They aren't that good to look ahead, stay hungry. When you find yourself getting to happy, think about last year and how painful it was. That alone should be enough to keep the fire in your belly.

Yes but you can still qualify for a bowl game with an under .500 record. ;) :)

100% right. I went up there a few years ago to see a Foo Fighters concert and was shocked at how nice it was. Remember thinking even then that there's no reason a similar arena couldn't be built at St. John's. Nothing massive or over the top, just a nice arena to see a game. Oh well, here's wishing.

Unless a new rule was enacted this year (it didn't get much publicity if it did, because I can't find an article anywhere), that is not a requirement.

Alabama, Georgia Tech, and Florida State all made the NIT last year with 8-10 conference records.

Zach B did reference this twice in the past two weeks, noting it is indeed a new rule. I too can't find anything validating that.

Bad rule. There is a good chance 5 teams will make the NCAA from the BE. If that's the case the other teams may all be sub 500 and exempt from the NIT, so there could be no BE teams in the NIT.
