Stakes obviously much higher in NFC title game but base it purely on which error was more egregious.
The Rams/Saints no-call and it's not even close.
In terms of the season I'd agree, but there is no comparing how the calls affected each game. It literally took a win from us and gave us no chance to make up for it due to the timing. The Saints could have won by stopping the Rams to end regulation or by not throwing the interception and scoring a TD.

There is no doubt it was a PI by the Rams, but what a horrible throw by Brees. It should have been a pick six and it was well short of the sticks as well. Basically the only way they get the first down is by a complete mistake by the Rams AND the refs seeing it that way.

Why isn't anyone talking about the ridiculous call of roughing the passer that would have ended the Chiefs/Pats game on "The Golden Boys" interception? The wrong 2 teams are in the Super Bowl because of ridiculously missed/wrong calls
Agreed 100% Anthony. The NFL is a joke. They wanted Brady and they wanted L.A.. it’s so blatant now it’s ridiculous. Look what they did to Pittsburgh with the touchdown when they robbed them of the playoff game against the Patriots.

Marillac I know I’m old and forgetful, so correct me if I’m wrong, but even after the refs screwed us royally, don’t we still win that game if we actually play D on that last SH possession?

Has nothing to do with it. One play is one play. Give us our rightful possession at the end thanks to LJ’s heroic steal and we win. SHU had no claim to that possession nor the sideline ball position.

That's a hard one. It's tough to ignore the Saints' call being the difference between a Super Bowl birth and going home. It's also hard to forget the blatant dishonestly (from both the refs and conference leadership) following the Seton Hall call.

I'll wimp out and just they were both among the worst calls I have ever seen.

One difference is that the NFL is seriously looking to implement a change to prevent a re-occurrence.

Ackerman and Jackson ran away from it and backed up the BS story about the clock. They didn't even hold the crew accountable for not admitting Stephens blew the whistle in anticipation of LJ landing out of bounds with the ball.
