Rams/Saints PI no-call or LJ’s game-winning play nullified by inadvertent whistle?

Stakes obviously much higher in NFC title game but base it purely on which error was more egregious.

What galls me about the LJ call is the three refs looked at it repeatedly, and maintained the wrong call.

Having the ref or team of refs who made the initial call review the call is usually just a waste of time. Referees are a stubborn bunch who are very unlikely to admit a mistake and instead of correcting the call will come up an explanation like " I heard a whistle' instead of admitting they made an error.
You have to have a different party doing the review.

The Rams/Saints no-call and it's not even close.

Why isn't anyone talking about the ridiculous call of roughing the passer that would have ended the Chiefs/Pats game on "The Golden Boys" interception? The wrong 2 teams are in the Super Bowl because of ridiculously missed/wrong calls

Maybe because that never happened. While the roughing the passer was an earlier bad call the Brady interception that was nullified late in the game was because of the lining up off sides of Dee Ford KC's edge rusher.

Anyone else seen the video some fan posted on Twitter about Brady? It was from the AFC Champ game and the ref appeared to say "I've got your back" into Brady's ear reading his lips. Years ago, you were seen as a conspiracy nut if you brought up the blatant pro-Brady bias but all these years later it's pretty obvious there is one. Can't wait for Brady and Belicheat to retire so the AFC East can once again be anyone's division. As a Jets fan, I've been tormented pretty much most of my life by the Patriots. Winning the division is literally almost impossible with them there. Still remember Mo Lewis knocking out Bledsoe. They're due a crappy QB.

When people ask me who I like in pro football I explain that I used to follow pro football but now I just root for the Jets.

Frankly, the Biggest Sporting Injustice is the one that was called against MY team. LOL. Sorry but that's the truth.

Saints fans will never forget the call, most of the rest of us say "bad call" and have already moved on. No one gives a crap about LJ except us. By now its just another SJU loss.

The Jets have to be the stupidest team in the NFL. For at least the past 20 years the formula has been crystal clear to win rings: get a franchise QB, surround him with weapons and a good RB to form a potent offense that can score TD's. Then have at least a solid defense. What have the Jets done in the draft for the better part of 20 yrs? Defense, defense, defense, defense and umm...yeah more defense. We put our eggs into one basket every year and then we wonder why the best we can do is kick FG's. When was the last true offensive playmaker we drafted? Moss? That was like 2002.

Unless they trade down, then you probably are not going to like the pick they make this year either.

Wouldn't shock me...this team has not drafted real offensive talent that can be Pro Bowl caliber in almost 20 years. I feel bad for Darnold, because all our organization cares about is defense. Even the Browns realized they needed offensive talent and got some. Now they are relevant again. Only way they seriously compete is if the offense gains real weapons. It would be like having the best fielders with gold gloves all over, but all .195 hitters on offense. If you want to win games you need to score and score a lot.

Jets should trade back in the draft and load up on 2nd round picks and get the best offensive weapons available.
I want this guy.

With that being said if we use the 3rd pick to get an OT I wouldn’t be mad at it

Absoutely agree that it would be a great idea to try to tade back to get picks. I don't know much about Metcalf, but a couple of young OL who will be anchors for 10 years sounds like a great next step.

Yes weatherman, it doesn’t even have to be Metcalf but we need a WR who is actually top 15 or top 10 in the league. You know I’ve actually seen a report that teams with top wide receivers lately (falcons, giants, Steelers, Bucs) haven’t been winning.

But god damn it makes the games so much more watchable when you have a top guy like that. So tired of ripping my hair out watching the jets offense go to work.

Because the refs missed a blatant pass interference that play and next.

You're right, your'e right...I just hate Tom Brady with every fiber of my being

Yes it’s Brady, but moreso it’s Belicheck and the chemistry the coach and QB have to make things work. Most of the Patriots success was done without massive pro-bowl receivers, Barry Sanders-like RB’s nor crushing defensive units. An eye for untapped talent is one big thing, as well as playing like a successful team ALL the time despite the parts. I will say, one of the biggest keys to success for them consistently through the years is having multiple big tight ends that are high-end receiving and blocking threats. Whether it’s Gronk, Hernandez and down the line, they always have multiple tight-end threats despite changing many different receiving corps etc. if I’m building a team, I too build around good QB’s, a solid offensive line and two grade-A offensive tight ends. Most underrated position on the field at least offensively. Two excellent overall tight ends is a game changer for both the offensive line and receiving corps and open up lanes for receivers and backs.

Biggest injustice will always be SJU to me....

Since I don't give a rat's a$$ about the Rams or Saints and I do care about St John's, I'll take the LJ debacle as the bigger sporting injustice hands down
