Big East Tournament Seed Watch 2/23/16

i really want to win the DePaul game. That would be a nice way to close out the season. A win at Creighton is unlikely as is a win at home against Providence. If two wins is enough to get us into ninth place, I think we have a shot against Marquette. We are not going to win any after that so that would be a great way to end the season.

Don't expect us to beat Creighton at their place but expect our second league win against Providence at MSG. And why not?

I would say that we have no answer for Dunn, but he (along with everyone else on that team not named Bentil) seems to be coming apart right now. Also, that 18-point difference the first time was a bit misleading. We were in that game until about the 7:00 mark.

However, they do have Depaul and Creighton before us, so they may get it right by the time we play them.

Teams to avoid:
1. Georgetown
2. Butler
3. Providence

Anyone else and I see us putting up a tough fight. If we manage to squeak out of the first game I'd love another Xavier matchup. Ellison vs Sumner would be fun to watch.

Sumner would leave Ellison as if he was stuck in cement. No contest.

Avoid everyone Being real can not see us competing unless we play our best game Sad but based on our yr lets just hope we play whomever tough and no blowouts

Only positive is that a win puts is in the 7 PM game on Thursday night. Best time for the working fans.

The thought of getting home at 1AM to see Durand Johnson play his final college game seems to be lacking in appeal. If by some miracle they win, I will come see them play Xavier the next day.

9:30 is virtually impossible for me. In the good ole days I'd just do happy hour in the city till game time then go straight to the game but those days are long gone and I need sleep too so forget about getting home at 1am on work night unless I'm taking off the next day
