The Idea of not playing everyone twice in order to schedule OOC games makes no sense.
What if the 6 teams you play twice are the bottom 6. OOC is not going to be any better that playing the top 4.
Big East is the only true power BB conference left. Playing a conference team once is nonsense. As a fan you want to see every team at home.
