There is only so much money that ESPN and FoxSports will spend for broadcast rights, and every conference will be competing for a portion of the ESPN & Fox broadcast budgets.Basketball and football conferences will have no bearing on either sport. Basketball will be its own entity with its own conferences. This is where I see the trajectory going.
The league that can be pillaged is the A-10. Do they have CFB teams? Adding one of the top programs from there will boost their recruiting power. I don't think the Nova would want SJU in the league. St Louis is intriguing because it gives Creighton a closer opponent.
