Big East Coaches & The Ice Bucket Challenge

I know several folks who did this challenge (usually, folks do it for charity, such as these coaches are doing) awhile back. I hope they all have a good ticker.

Did Thornton go right from the challenge to the hot tub? (check it out at the end of the second youtube clip).

Volunteer Fire Departments in Suffolk Count (possibly Nassau) had a water challenge for charity (I believe it was for going around earlier this spring. I believe it was for the Wounded Warriors Project. My oldest participated and was doused by water for over a minute. He then challenged one of our fellow parishoners who is a volly for a neighboring town department.

A good cause and some fun to boot.

First a classy letter to the fans and now this. Yet another instance where Woj far and away outshines Lavs.

Ok here's a primter:

MainMan - Joking 90% of the time
'72 Joking 60% of the time
Bama - Joking 33% of the time.

With MainMan you should be able to tell since it's usually pretty funny, with '72 and Bama, not so much. ;)

Lavin better dump a damn bucket of water and ice over his head today and put it on youtube or the 2015 class is doomed :)

Guess it is a bit unlikely Dinkins & Bama will be doing ice water dunk together for charity. Burr v. Hamilton perhaps? :)

That would be hysterical. Even it was a success, Otis would stop the video after a minute and deem it a failure posting something along the lines of most ice bucket challenges are completed within thirty seconds and global warming is claiming all the good ice.

And Jay Wright invented the ice bucket challenge

mailman = sarcasmman

You could use comedians as a reference point like: MainMan=Garrison Keillor, '72=Andrew Dice Clay...

but for me I like to put everything in the perspective of Science Fiction when I am trying to understand something. So I came to the conclusion that understanding MainMan is like understanding Dathon from the Star Trek TNG episode: "Darmok"
If you think of MainMan as Dathon's wise-cracking little brother you will be compelled to declare: "Sokath, his eyes uncovered!"

And for the record, austour is the Isaac Asimov of redmen.com. I guess I'd be the L. Ron Hubbard (or as I prefer to be referenced "Elrond Hubbard") of redmen.com ;)

Jay Wright would never, ever, soil those custom made suits of his!

Paul,

This post made me want to shove two very sharp objects straight into my eyes so that I would never have to see it again. However, I feel that the principal from the movie Billy Madison may have said it best:

"Paul Massell, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

On a serious note I just sent my contribution of $50 to the ALS Association. Let's hope many of the people participating in this fun challenge are also contributing financially especially the well off individuals so that we can defeat this hideous disease.

It has raised over 2.8mm so far more than double their typical yearly fundraising.
