What a game so far.  It's amazing what this team can do when everyone is contributing.

Aside, this announcing duo annoys me to no end.  Posh, Smith, and Coburn are 3 different people.  They look nothing alike and they have different names and numbers on their clothes to help you out.  How is it possible you can confuse them all the time?

Yeah, Smith looks so poised, confident and even defending better, his best game to me
It was the Indiana game and then a wasteland. Good to see the kid have some success with his career on the line.

Why is Posh still in this game ??? Pinzon can handle it the rest of the way.
I've seen teams comeback from 20 down with under 10 minutes to go.  DePaul can score quickly, you don't want to give them any momentum.  I wouldn't pull my starters out until they are up 20+ going into the under 4 timeout.

Have to realize that Smith has played in more conference tournament games and NCAA games then the rest of our team combined. May have been a lower level but he isn’t nervous.

Whichever StJ’s coach has spent time this season with the “big men” has done a great job of developing Nyiwe and Soriano both of whom are far better today than when the season started.

I would think Zendon had some input.

Mathis seriously has absolutely no control of the ball when he's going to the rim. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

Biggest takeaway from this game if there is any hope for next year is Nyiwe. Eye opening.  Any other coach in league would be salivating to have him.  Nyiwe was making skilled plays left and right when game in doubt in 1st half.

It can't be Zendon.
neither of those guys pump fake, double clutch 20 times on each shot.

No complaints here, very happy, satisfied and glad for kids. I will now go to work on my Gillespie voodoo doll. He’s probably practicing flopping at the hotel. Adios!

People talk about the press and the uptown being a negative but when they play well see @SHU, home at Butler, home to Xavier they can blow teams out and are really fun to watch.

Their problem is being able to execute in the half court in a tight game.

But there is no law that says you can't do both.

You know it’s your night when Wusu bowls someone over and gets the call
