Anyone have stats on Greene and Harrison? These 2 guys must have joined the bricklayer union.
Coach to team: when we shoot you guys better crash the effen offensive boards. Harrison and Greene showing their defensive deficiency. Down only 13 so if we play a little smarter a comeback is possible unless Harrison and Greene continue laying bricks and forcing shots.

johnny dont get sucked in on the -3 we are playing like crap and will chase then run out of steam everyone who took the -1 lock up your money and pray do not press on this team who is not playing well today

why do we get our hopes up every year in the BE tourney we crap the bed and go home like losers.. this is insane that we play a 1st half like this against a team we beat already and we go out and drop a load on our court now we come out and yo yo between 8 and 17 and lose then we say oh well we are in big dance NO we must do better then this it is a joke already

Not a home court advantage. There are more Providence fans here than St. John's.
 
I thought Delarosa at least could maintain his spot on the floor. Amar was handled like a rag doll.
Neither one is a legit defensive Big East power forward at this point.

The only problem is that this team has played so of their worst basketball in the first 5 minutes of the second half. Why I don't know.

Play-in games? Please! I very, seriously doubt we're gonna be in a play-in game. The play-in game is typically relegated to teams barely getting into the field. The only thing this may cement us in an 8/9 game.

Didn't come out scared at all. Were up 7-0 and decided they wanted to go for the knockout blow in the first 2 minutes. Proceeded to shoot 3's non stop until they were down by 10.
 
why are we going with JDR over Amar in this game....Amar has to be able to guard Desrosiers and is way more helpful on the offensive end

What has he done this year to show he is helpful on offense? He shoots 36 percent from the field.
 
Need to get the 3rd foul on Dunn & Desrosiers early.
 
Pointer had a few turnovers that were near hand offs.
We really can't play much worse...at least not our core six ..
So, maybe we will see the other SJU team as the law of averages shifts and we hit a bunch in a row.
Hope springs eternal....well at least for ten more minutes to test if we can make it a game

True- rather they looked scared when Providence came back. Didn't know how to respond.

You must not follow the tournament. 11 and 12 seeds from high-major conferences are teams barely receiving a bid. The Johnnies aren't gonna "barely receive a bid."

We're not gonna be an 11 or 12 seed, and not in the play-in game.
