And to think Jaime Dixon just signed a contract extension to remain at Pitt until 2023. Barkley's comment on CBS was, " Imagine if he had won in the NCAA Tournament, they may have given him until 2050."
 
So........ does this mean we should now rescind the offer to Butler to join the new BE ?

I had posted multiple times that the conference had to make sure that Stevens was secure at Butler before offering them a conference slot. I hope Stevens doesn't leave, but he has to be on the short list for any top job.
 
If I had to guess, someone born in Zionsville, Ind., probably grew up worshipping the Hoosiers, not the Bruins. Is UCLA hard to turn down? Sure, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did.

Now if UCLA decided that Tom Crean was their top choice, and he was receptive, I'd be more nervous. . .
 
Amaker has knocked around enough to have the experience, and stayed at Harvard long enough not to be considered rolling stone. Little quick for Crean to be leaving having gotten paid through all the losing. It can be said he fixed them up though before jumping. I don't think all coaches figure that job a picnic. Many jobs pay good today. Calhoun likes money. Now there's a guy who can tell a kid I'll put you in the NBA. Might be a good 2 year hire, and we all get a nice laugh.
 
Watching UCLA in person last night my 1st impression was how undisciplined they looked and that Howland was probably gone. Also disappointed in how Anderson looked.
 
I wonder if Anderson can claim hardship and transfer here. I know we aren't Iona, the school of wayward transfers, but what the heck. ;)

If the choice is Smart, KA definitely has the vision to make it work in that system, but will lack of foot speed hinder him?
