Wild how confusing (and silly) the rules are. If we end of playing Baylor twice that'd be kind of hilarious.

If it's really between Baylor and Oregon/SDSU then Baylor is the only one that's currently projected to be Quad 1, so I'd prefer that, but I doubt the tournament would repeat the matchup.

There's 0% chance we're playing Baylor or Iowa State again. After the top 4 they'll loosen the structure to make sure teams play unique opponents not in their own conference.

I wouldn’t mind Oregon. Big ten team. Usually make the NCAAT. I’m confident they’ll make it this year too as they still have Bittle and Shelstad who have been good players for them for years. Experienced group. But obviously I think we can take them

They’re down this year as the supporting cast around those 2 guys is baaad. They’re currently below Akron, George Mason, and George Washington on KP. Projected to go 7-13 in the B10

Respectfully, don’t really care what KP lists them at right now. Still think they’ll wind up having a good season and beating them would wind up being solid for us. Have a lot of respect for those vets and Altman can really coach.

Pretty absurd that teams in different “pods” can’t play each other for the third game. The two arenas are literally like an 8 minute drive from each other

I believe I read if you aren’t in the top 4 you can’t crossover to the other side (arena) so we can only play a team from the Michigan/Auburn pod.

The shot making in this sdsu/oregon game is pretty crazy. SDSU has some guards that will def be a challenge for us if they are the draw.

Bittle is limping around not sure what happened, tough spot for Oregon here if he can’t go

SDSU, losers to Troy last week, would be a pretty lame final matchup. Especially since this is the best regular season tournament field in NCAA history and St. John's played well by the tournament's own rules.

Agree. He's certainly not playing like the Big East Player of the year. So far, Hopkins is contributing more than Zuby.

It’s crazy how it is so hard to confirm the format of this tournament. I saw about the different pods and how only the top 2 teams in each pod play in the championship and 3rd place games. But I keep seeing online about how Iowa state got “robbed” and that they will be playing a consolation game. If that really is true, we might end up playing them again.

How is it that the format isn’t posted on the player era website and that no major news outlet knows wtf is going on with this “tournament” either.
