Baylor, Tue., Nov. 25, 4:30p, TruTV / 880 AM

What I “want” to believe is that this team is going to get better and stronger as they play the season.

Now that might not be reality but I believe in the Coach and will continue to buy in.

The Tournament is great because this not cupcake city. The result will be a true barometer of where we stand and exactly what our strengths and weaknesses are. If we play and win another game tomorrow we will have some nice momentum for the rest of the season

Regardless of personal scoring or whatever but I believe in trends and patterns. Totally understand how in regards to +- you cant rely on a game but a series of games gives a better indication. Any patterns in this stat over the year so far ?
NCAA started tracking +/- in 2018. Not enough sample size for a meaningless stat.

Alright this is really the dumbest tourney structure around. The last game is scheduled to tip at midnight. That means it won’t end until at least 2am. Do we have to wait until all the games are over to know who plays who?
I can’t ever remember having to wait until the day of the game, to know who and at what time the game is.

What a great game. This is the start of a great season. Had an awesome time hanging at canz with all the guys. Let’s go!!!

I agree with you 100 %. When Rick was complaining about rebounding, I thought he was exaggerating. Our team rebounding has been disappointing these last 2 games. Offensive boards we have been fine, defensive board we’ve been awful. That’s why we play good games early and have to fix for league play

And yes the competition in this tournament is fantastic.

Compare it to say Maui, which used to be awesome. The field this year is kind of a joke.

We lost an exhibition game to Michigan and lost to Iowa St by 1 and Alabama by just a few. Baylor is decent (not great) but still a good test.

Michigan, Alabama and Iowa St. are all “potential” elite 8 or better type teams. So much benefit (in my opinion) to playing quality opponents.

I believe we get the loser of Michigan/Auburn unless it’s Michigan and Oregon wins and somehow has a better point differential
Not really.

SJ is for all intents and purposes the 6 seed as the loser of UM/Auburn and the loser of Zags/Terps will drop below SJU. St J woukd likely play one of the winners or Iowa State though the tourney reserves the right, but does not guarantee, to avoid games that are repeats of games in the tournry or teams that will play non conference later in the season. They also guarantee no in conference games. Really the only thing that's guaranteed is that they will play Wednesday as only the bottom 4 teams play on Thanksgiving.

For a lot of teams, Baylor would be the best if not by far the best game they’ve played to date. Even if it is our third best opponent.

glad to see folks coming back in from the window ledge. as to potential opponents, would love to see a game against Gonzaga but they will probably be 2-0 grouping. for fun Cuse or Notre dame or Maryland (adidas vs. under armor)

Thank you, this is the clearest I've seen it expressed anywhere. I was baffled by the tv explanation and heaven help you if you tried to look at the Players Era website.

Also, how good is Hopkins. Like you think that guy was BE POY or something!
