Understand the university will host its annual basketball tip-off dinner in NYC on Wed. Oct. 19.

The next night a dinner honoring Chris Mullin will be held on the St. John's campus.

Do not know who will be the keynote speaker at the Tip-Off Dinner. 

Last year, Kenny Smith was the key-note speaker and he was fantastic.
 
As an FYI.. there had been a change in the dates .

The event at St. John's to honor Chris Mullin will now be on Wed. Oct. 19

The Annual Tip - Off Dinner will be held at the Marriott Marquis in Mid-Town on Thur. evening Oct. 20.

The guest speaker on the 20th will be Chris Mullin.

Price per table for the Marriott event on Oct. 20 is a hefty $10K.

A table for the St. John's event on Oct. 19 is $2,500

To a couple corrections.

Its not the Marriott its the Grand Hyatt.
And the prices per person are $1000 and and $250.
