(Baha Mar Hoops) Virginia, Fri., Nov. 22, 7p, CBSSN

A few observations:
1) Ayo, Wilcher and Dunlap really cheer hard for their teammates. Ayo did an extra rep of practice for Prey. Sim was getting so pumped on the sideline that the ref told him he had to sit down (lol). Definitely cornerstone culture guys.

2) Aside from that one idiotic play at end of half, RJ took over this game with his defense (off ball denial). UVA offense had nowhere to go because of it.

3) Smith seems really comfortable with his teammates. Happy he’s adjusted.

Last night, they were clearly moments where they were frustrated at each other. It’s nice to see them recover from that. We’re much more talented and athletic compared to last year.

Macy played for Kentucky I believe.
Proud of our boys. This was a thorough, complete, wall to wall a&& kicking with so many positive contributors. Removes any bad taste from last night and says a lot about this group and the staff on how we responded. I don't know how good Virginia will ultimately be this year, but they beat Nova by 10 and we treated them like a low major. Coming off last night that wasn't an easy task. This is going to be a fun year.

So who are we rooting for in the Georgia - Marquette game??
I don't know much about Georgia but I'm rooting for a close win by Marquette need big east to be as strong as possible come conference play. A close loss won't hurt Georgia, as much as a loss for Marquitte will since I think there's a better chance Georgia is a bad loss than Marquette being one. Not saying they will be but if I had to pick one to fall off it would be Georgia.

Great recovery game! Everyone was on the same page and Kadary recovered nicely.
RJ Luis again was the best player on the court is becoming silky smooth.
The bench got some quality playing experience as Pitino showed some pity on the Cavaliers.
