Like Brady too. But if you say he’s too weak to guard 4s now, what’s the very good defensive versatility you mention?

He's got the feet to keep guards honest and the length to challenge at the end of the drive if they turn the corner. I think he could shut down the 4 with some strength and hold his own with 5's. I liked him on 4's this year so I don't think he's too week. I do think extra weight/strength will help.

I don't think he's ever shutting guards down.

We're switching 1-5 or at least hedging like crazy with the 5 -- effectively resulting in the 5 switching. I wasn't sure we'd do that. Maybe that changes when Maker starts getting big minutes, but he'll need to guard the 5 more than I thought. Hence the strength addition being key.

His ideal base will be guarding 4's and big 3's....and then occasionally guards and the 5.

Most likely Luis and Zuby, Brady too - the rest depend on what roles they see they will have vs opportunity to play elsewhere There will likely be stronger interest from top portal players in coming here, and with 4 years left on Pitino's contract, from unsigned top ha players and jucos. NIL budget will have to increase, but we have some big numbers coming off the books. The only thing fore sure is Rick gets more of the picks of the litter.

Not to mention the incredible dose of “instant arrogance” many of the same “experts” were able to consume so quickly for virtually all non-SJU CBB entities. But that’s fandom the world over I suppose………
 
Ayo shut down Kam Jones drive twice on a possession and then switched seamlessly onto Joplin and stopped him after a screen The result was a shot clock violation.

What other 3/4 comes in off the bench and does that?
