Lee has some "herky jerky" to his game. Athletic, crafty, suddenness, and a seemingly quick release based on the two-minute highlight above.
The fact Rick and staff have liked him a while should allay the usual fears, concerns re ratings, Ivy level of play and wanting “studs”. He has shown he is a distributor, highly coachable, rebounds well and can score. We need a competent pass first PG and imo he fits the bill. The current SJ portal challenge is not filling out a McD AA team, rather it is putting together a talented group with great chemistry. Imo Lee would highly contribute to achieving that. Getting him is another issue.

Watched the highlights of Lee vs. Rutgers. The assist numbers are tantalizing, and he did drop some dimes in the reel. Putting that on hold for a minute is he a lead guard? I didn't notice (in the highlights) that he was bringing the ball up the court or leading the offense. I also noticed he was nowhere near Harper on defense.
Looks super quick and to have incredible IQ. Obviously, if Rick wants him to be his lead guard next year, I should shut my mouth and cross my fingers we get him. Just curious if anyone knows more about him.

I know very little about Lee until you mentioned him yesterday and viewing his highlights a few minutes ago. For some reason, I feel rather good about our chances. "Slick Rick" can be pretty convincing. Not to mention, we have the necessary backingGetting him is another issue.

That’s the short answer?
We should expect the defense to take a step back as the offense takes a leap forward.
But we should also expect the team to continue its defense first identity. It just may not be required for 40 minutes because they will score a bit more giving the team an occasional breather on the defensive end.
