Available Lead Guards

Yes, like him, nice stats and seems another shooting weapon. Used to big minutes, so not sure how he’ll feel as supplementary guy.

Like his assist to turnover ratio. Think he would be a nice final; piece along with a back up center

Whatever happened to the McDonald's All-American kid who recently de-committed from UConn? I thought Pitino showed some interest in him. He was touted as being a very good three point shooter.

Shooting guard w inadequate balling handling skills to play the point.

Darius Adams. He's a combo guard. UNC, TENN, Bama have shown interest re 247 sports. No clue if we're involved at this point.

Can we please stop posting about guys who are currently out of eligibility on this thread? Even if they do get another year via the settlement or a court ruling, it is not going to happen right away. Pitino is looking to fill spots now, not waiting for a ruling so would we even be sniffing around them?

If I remember correctly Baylor Scheierman played at South Dakota State before being a star at Creighton. My point is you don't have to be playing in the SEC or the Big 10 to be a good basketball player. Darling may be one of those players while playing at Idaho St. Pitino's judgement skills are pretty good so I guess we'll soon find out.

At this stage Dylan Darling would be a fantastic addition imho. I was on the road more than usual for me last year which meant alot of down time in hotel rooms streaming late night mid major games on ESPN+ (I know how to party). I saw 2 Idaho State games and the only reason I remember watching either of them is because he clearly stood out in both and the name “Dylan Darling” is memorable with the alliteration and all.

Obviously not saying that a star in the Big Sky will translate into a star in the Big East but he’s a guy who spent the majority of last season with the ball in his hand the majority of the game being guarded by Division I players & excelled and that’s a skill set the Johnnies can use right now. Regardless of the conference. If he commits I’d be shocked if he didn’t play his way into significant minutes because of his skill set even on this talented roster
I know him too. Yup I bet Idaho state games 🫣😁
