We had more fans inside Stout than they had in Nyc.Creighton fans were there but were very quiet. Good St. John’s crowd yesterday. Crowd was engaged especially in the 2nd half.

We had more fans waiting to get into Stout then they had in NYC. That line after the game was like a mile long.We had more fans inside Stout than they had in Nyc.
This game could have been sold out if we had won 3 or 4 games we should have and were on the cusp of being ranked and tournament bound.12,000 @ today's game against Creighton. Because there were very, very few Creighton fans, it means we have a solid base of fans willing to support the team at MSG. And it could be more if there had not been so much negativity surrounding the team going into the game. Let's keep the support going!
Is seasoned veterans of bars ran right over there as game ended got there before the lineWe had more fans waiting to get into Stout then they had in NYC. That line after the game was like a mile long.
I was with my daughter and we left right at the buzzer, ran into mjmaherjr outside made it to Stout and was able to grab 4 tables and eight seats before the crowd filled in.We had more fans waiting to get into Stout then they had in NYC. That line after the game was like a mile long.
“Amen”Sunday proves the obvious: either CA or MSG is best for this program.
Dump any other "home" arena.

AD CRagg said recently in a podcast is the UBS arena will continue to be a venue for future games. did not say anything for Barclays. nobody goes to the games in brooklyn, we should never play there again.I agree, but personally I'd still try to play a couple OOC games at BC and UBS and have them count as neutral games. Just for example, the last time we made the Tournament (under Mullin) we beat Cal and VCU at BC and those counted as neutral games because it was a tournament and we didn't play any other games there. The VCU win (Q1) was our biggest of the OOC and it helped that our fans were local.
This year it didn't work out against Boston College, but generally it should. Had we won (as expected) that would've been a nice Q2 neutral win.
Interesting, well hopefully in that case it's only OOC games, because if we play any Big East games at UBS then all of them would count as home rather than neutral. I'd prefer just 1-2 OOC games a lot more to how we scheduled this year.AD CRagg said recently in a podcast is the UBS arena will continue to be a venue for future games. did not say anything for Barclays. nobody goes to the games in brooklyn, we should never play there again.
Hope no Big East games at UBS except maybe DePaul. Hofstra seems like a logical choice for UBS as a Long Island school.AD CRagg said recently in a podcast is the UBS arena will continue to be a venue for future games. did not say anything for Barclays. nobody goes to the games in brooklyn, we should never play there again.
Gotta do something about the ridiculous parking fees.AD CRagg said recently in a podcast is the UBS arena will continue to be a venue for future games. did not say anything for Barclays. nobody goes to the games in brooklyn, we should never play there again.
The suites were nice. Food was great! The UBS arena is a nice venue….for hockey. It’s not setup well for basketball and in a season where we are competitive and have sold out CA and drawn 10-13K at MSG still UBS crowds were sad. One game a year there max as a novelty and maybe you’ll draw a decent crowd.
Mine are too, but it is better in one way. It's much easier to make bathroom runs during timeouts when you sit further back, the way these areas are structured. Not sure about the rest of you but my seats at UBS are twice as far from the court as my seats at MSG. Another reason I want no part of UBS.
