BC is about as relevant as Wahlburgers

Wahlburgers is very relevant in Suffolk County
They're building one on Rte 347 in Port Jeff Station

Good luck with that. If the White Castle at the end of 347 couldn't make it (mostly because I moved to Cali and only visited twice per year) how is my 'hood going to take to a Boston burger?

BTW Billie's 1890 down Port has about the best burger for 30 years

There is a White Castle on 347 in Mt Sinai and another on 25 in Centereach
I call them gourmet burgers; my wife calls them belly bombs
Back in the '60's, there was a shortage of beef
Bob Hope said that it wouldn't affect White Castle
He said they get 1,000 burgers out of a pound of chop meat

1. White Castle in Mt Sinai closed some time ago. It was Mount Sinai and is along 25A until you get past Patchogue Mt Sinai Road.
2. Did Billie's reopen since the fire this summer? I don't think they have yet.
3. My dive bar of choice, with cheap burgers, when I'm visiting home is Tara's Inn. I believe you can still get a burger for $1, and Tara, the baby daughter the bar was named after, now lives around the corner from my dad.
