Article - Should ACC Boot BC?

Also gotta love the shots they take at Louisville in the article. Don't be surprised if in a few years a similar article is written like this about Pitt.

To answer the question - Should the ACC boot BC?
The answer is NO - the ACC Network wanted to get into the Boston area market
The same reason why Rutgers is in the Big Ten - to break into the NY area market
It's all about $$$$ these days - being a competitive program is no longer a criteria

I've never seen a program take such a fall like BC. Uconn is headed towards a similar fate, Olie is no Calhoun, and I actually like the brother.

BC is about as relevant as Wahlburgers

Wahlburgers is very relevant in Suffolk County
They're building one on Rte 347 in Port Jeff Station

Good luck with that. If the White Castle at the end of 347 couldn't make it (mostly because I moved to Cali and only visited twice per year) how is my 'hood going to take to a Boston burger? ;)

PS Go burger in the same neighborhood is pretty good non chain fast food.

it's now a Dunkin Donuts. Isn't that Miller Place?
BTW Billie's 1890 down Port has about the best burger for 30 years

Francessa on his show the other day talked about how BC, Pitt and Syracuse all made mistakes going to the ACC and all will suffer. He especially had not sympathy for BC because of the lie that told to the Big East about solidarity and they were out the door ASAP when the opportunity came along. He also stated they used to be a pretty good program in the Big East which they were. Kharma is a bitch and they deserve what they got despite the additional income. They sold out like a cheap prize fighter.

Not that I really care but Pitt won two bigly football games this year. Handed playoff bound Clemson their only loss and possibly eliminated Penn State in another.

There is a White Castle on 347 in Mt Sinai and another on 25 in Centereach
I call them gourmet burgers; my wife calls them belly bombs
Back in the '60's, there was a shortage of beef
Bob Hope said that it wouldn't affect White Castle
He said they get 1,000 burgers out of a pound of chop meat

Kind of like us beating Final Four participant Syracuse last year :p

Perhaps teams in "irrelevant houses" should not throw stones. :)

Classic!!! Were you once a writer for Jerry Seinfeld? :)

From this article we can deduce that Uconn's football team will not be an attractive asset to the ACC any time soon.

"while everyone loves those easy wins in football and basketball – almost everyone – it isn’t healthy for the ACC to have one school lagging this far behind for this long."

Could not agree more. I don't post much, but I am a frequent reader of posts, and I am always surprised how quick many are to knock other programs when we have been so irrelevant ourselves.
