Carnesecca was on Centerstage a number of years back (Norm was still the coach here), and said he was a Yankees fan growing up, because they had the Italian players Joe DiMaggio and Frank Crosetti (and later on, Phil Rizzuto).

Did any other SJU ever get this just for becoming coach at SJU?
Everyone in NY know that something big is about to happen at SJU, talking about a NC or 2.

No we aren't Duke or UK. All we really need is one or two top recruiters to get some top talent to commit here, and we have two top recruiters. Also need great basketball minds, that's where Mullin comes in. If the Bulls win a championship, Pinckney could cshow his championship ring to the recruits as well as coach the big men (obekpa and sima).
