Shaka needs to find the sweet spot re transfer component of roster imo. His philosophy avoiding the portal seems stubborn and foolish.
I have nothing to say. Just quote-posting these .... because.Shaka smart: gets two transfers who go on to be nba players, makes sweet 16
Also Shaka: never doing that again
NCAA should be 6 fouls but then again that means more time for Breeding and company to prove their incompetenceFYI- St. Louis and Bradley played 5 ten minute quarters. UConn and Michigan State agreed to play their exhibition under the six foul rule. Could have came in handy for Sanon and Sellers v Michigan.
I think we had this discussion before but I would much rather see a penalty; extra foul shot or something of that nature as a certain # of fouls is reached, possibly with escalating penalties, such as not being available for an amount of time as the penalty box in hockey as the # of fouls on a player mounts, rather than a banishment.NCAA should be 6 fouls but then again that means more time for Breeding and company to prove their incompetence
I’m all for something different. 5 is too few if they blow the whistle for every ticky tack or phantom foul.I think we had this discussion before but I would much rather see a penalty; extra foul shot or something of that nature as a certain # of fouls is reached, possibly with escalating penalties, such as not being available for an amount of time as the penalty box in hockey as the # of fouls on a player mounts, rather than a banishment.
Makes a coach still have to manage fouls but doesn’t glue your best players to the bench. So a Richmond logically has to sit for fouling against Arkansas but can still be available at the coaches discretion.
Could not agree more about the reffing and rules.I’m all for something different. 5 is too few if they blow the whistle for every ticky tack or phantom foul.
If you’re not marrying the rules from college to pro (still don’t get how one foot works in college but not NFL) then I’m all for something creative like you proposed.
