Around the Big East 25-26

Make or break season for Kim English and they've already dropped games to a middle of the pack ACC team and a bottom of the pack Big 12 team. Their defense - supposedly English's calling card - has been terrible.

Think we'll be looking at a coaching change there this spring
what is PU's NIL budget? Is another Coach going to be able to compete with it?

Agree and would note the D overall in the BE has been dreadful for most teams. For the Xavier’s, Friars, Blue Demons of the world, the idea of winning shootouts seems unrealistic and imprudent.

Kim better turn this around defensively sooner than later as Mug noted. At least he did not blame players last night. I have watched PC a few times and must say they have some talent. It is up to Kim to pull this together or Friar fans will turn on him quickly.

Was not a believer in English or PC making it to the NCAA coming into the season. He still has time to turn things around but "gets fired" is and should be a whole lot more possible than "wins 20".

Tho if the BE is as weak as it looks you just need to be the tallest vertically challenged person to stand tall in the league this year as SJU did last year to some extent.

You have eclipsed Marillac in this regard 👀

Wow, who else but VINCE seals the game for Georgetown with a dagger in the lane

I scoffed the other day at GTown being a factor for the conference, but have to give them their respect. They notch another high major victory and defeat Clemson.

A decent win for Georgetown. I'm not sure what sort of team Dayton has this year, but Georgetown goes to Dayton later this month. The Hoyas will also head down to Chapel Hill to face UNC in early December.

Nigel James, local guy/freshman on Marquette, looks really good & is another player we seemingly stopped recruiting after being all over him early.

Looks like Sean Jones not playing today or Marquette. Injury?
