He played his freshman year and started a little less than half their games basically out of necessity due to injuries. His stats were pedestrian but he still played.

He was a non-medical redshirt last year to preserve a year of eligibility and due to their them being very deep at his positions last year. They are deep their again this year.

He must regret his decision to go there in light of the team depth comment you made. His salary at UCLA must reflect his limited PT too. Here’s hoping he works hard and gets more time. We’ll see what level of play is suited for him this year I suspect.

He might regret it but he is still there going into his third year and has had ample opportunity to leave at that time. Maybe he is happy there.

Would it have been any different here? Wilcher was recruited over and he was a starter here.

Not implying anything about him being here. I hope he does well there. He also had a lot of hype in high school and perhaps he will achieve the expectations many had for him.

Syracuse has a few "scout the portal" guys that will make me watch games.

I'd love the poetic justice of nabbing Kiyan next summer. Carmelo can finally attend his dream school through his son's footsteps and be a regular at MSG.

Donnie Freeman fits the bill for a starting front court replacement. From DMV.

Betsy was someone we recruited in HS, 4*, underachieved at Cincy but tall/lanky.

Hopefully they underachieve and they let their HC go.
 
Reports of Dickie V’s retirement were a bit premature as he’s scheduled to announce tonight’s game between Duke and Texas.
 
Tonight I have watched Kentucky, Purdue and now Duke. I gotta say we are as talented as any of them. This is going to take some getting use to.

Wilcher just checked in for Texas. Looks odd in Texas uni.

And no, he is not playing the point (at least not now).
 
Lot of experienced guard play on Texas. Despite the coaching change, they retained several players for their backcourt.

Granted I’ve watched exactly one single half of basketball, but not sure I love the move for Sim.
