Around College Basketball 25-26

Ugh I really like how college basketball games only take 2 hours. Perfect for attending with young kids, as well as my own schedule having less free time than I used to. It's the only sport where I still sometimes put on a random game if St. John's isn't playing, I've lost interest in a lot of other sports over the years because they take 3-3.5 hours.

I get that it's all about revenue, though, and this probably would result in more overall...

Would also need to move from 5 to 6 fouls per player.

While l am not in favor of the four quarters, I think most college games are running longer than two hours which is why you tune on a game on FS1 or ESPN and they tell you to tune into there other channel or their app. The 7-9 with the 9-11 is a farce now IMHO. Set your DVR for that time frame and you have a good chance of missing the beginning or end of the game and in some cases, both.

The average college basketball game for last year, at least according to what I could find on Google, was 2 hours and 4 minutes. They have gotten longer over the last few years (due to things like ref reviews), and often the start times are delayed due to the prior TV game or pregame coverage. I totally agree about the DVR times.

Anyone that doesn't add at least one hour to the taping of a sporting event is asking for trouble. Got to account not only for a long game but delayed starting times, overtime or even multiple overtimes. For example for NHL playoff game I add the max on DVR of 3 hours. College football 1 !/2 hours.

I add at least an hour (sometimes more) extended time on the DVR for every sporting event except for soccer which tends to start and end within the televised schedule however I still add an extra 30 minutes.

it would be an absolute tragedy if you missed any of the "action" in a soccer game.
