Cafe 31 on 31st between 7th and 8th next to the Park and Lock has solid food choices. Place gets packed prior to games though.

BTW dont anyone think for a second Moose is going there for the food. He's going there for the hot bartenders.

They're advertising the hell out of this.

And ironically there has been no promotion around the sick doubleheader tomorrow (Tuesday) with Duke, Mich St, Kansas and Kentucky.

No need for any ads regarding that event. With Duke and Kentucky in the field, they probably came close to selling out the garden on their own, and Kansas has a nice fanbase too.

Wasn't neccessarily referring to ticket sales. I totally forgot about this event even being played until a Mich St fan reminded me of it over the weekend. No buzz around it at all.

As for tickets yes according to ticketmaster there are no seats available.

Interesting about the arizona game, but they won't be one of those teams that kills us with their size. Their best players are all in the 6'2"-6'7" range. Should be quite a contest. Keep em outside of the paint will be important. I don't think they have a big guy like Gift who can give them a real problem. Need to get the ball in gifts hands under the basket all day and have him draw fouls. He's hitting his ft shots and could be the difference in this game.

Agree Duke seems to big for us. Our zone has to improve or they will kill us from the outside Pressure D turnsovers and fast breaks will help Wish be were deeper and had a player 6-10

We crushed em last year and we were a lot smaller than them last year as well. Actually, we are longer and faster overall this year. Only think that matters is learning our zones and getting some depth in December an we'll be fine.

Duke? I thought we were playing Arizona on tomorrow. LOL We don't play Duke 'til the end of January. Duke is certainly gonna be a tough out for us, but we don't have to deal with them for two more months.

As, far as Arizona.... I think they are gonna have their hands full with GG. I've seen 'Zona play three times, so far, this season and I've yet to see one of their bigs have an impact on the game like GG. This is not saying they can't have the same impact, but I haven't seen it thus far.

They have more depth in their frontcourt, but I don't see anyone of their guys being a better player than GG. Looking forward to see how GG handle guys more to his size and athletic ability. It should be a good battle on the blocks.

Official Main Man odds that D'angelo  and Nick Johnson get into it before halftime: 3-2

Agree. Have Lindsey penetrate all night and hand off to G.G.

I'm also in agreement with the both of you. 'Zona likes to play "in your face" man-to-man defense. IMO, Lindsey should be able to get in the lane where he can drive and dish.

MJ, remember what our guys did against Duke's in your face defense last year. Granted that was last years squad but it was due to Lavin's offensive preparation.

Yes, I certainly do remember. :) I also feel Lindsey and possibly, Greene should be able to get past their man and pose some problems for 'Zona.
