Amir Garrett

Good kid also. Here's a kid that only played 1 semester for us and we are all rooting for him.

55 games over 2 seasons
I thought he was gone after fr. Year. My bad. Nevertheless a fan favorite. Although he didn't get here until 2 nd semester year 1, So 1 and1/2 yrs total.

The point of your post doesn't change. Lots of kids have left the program early and are wished well by our fan base.

I hope he can get a shot. If he goes back to Louisville he needs to be solid to get a call up later in the season.

Amir started for the Reds today against the Cubs. 3.0 Innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 2 strikeouts, and 0 walks. Rooting for the young fella. Can't wait to see him at Citi Field

"The pitching was strong for the Reds on Monday afternoon. Amir Garrett got the start, hoping to rebound a bit from his last outing. Did he ever do just that. The only runner that reached base against Garrett came on an error. Other than that he tossed 4.0 perfect innings with three strikeouts. For the spring the left hander now has a 0.79 ERA (5 unearned runs, 1 earned) in 11.1 innings on 10 hits, two walks and nine strikeouts."
