Amir Garrett

Amir made the right decision to focus on baseball
While he was a decent college basketball player, he is clearly a better pitcher
He will be in MLB sometime soon; he would never have made the NBA
Good choice, Amir, and best of luck to you!!

He needs to improve his control. Otherwise he has the tools to pitch in the majors.

been following Amir. First off, choosing baseball will be one of the smartest decisions any johnnie ever made. He will be a multi millionaire in years to come. Don't believe me? Currently ranked 55 out of ALL players in the minors, which a bunch of them are already in the pros. Ranked # 1 pitching prospect by the Reds in their current system. One of the top Lefties in the minors, and 16 among all arms in the minors. Has pitched 120 innings with 110Ks. ERA of 2.48 and a WHIP of 1.042!! So, if you ever feel he made a mistake, your crazy! Trust me, he will be a multi-millionaire in 6-8 years.
Keep up the good work Amir! Always loved your work ethic.

Couldn't agree more. Even a crappy left hander can have a long and lucrative career.

What a truly amazing athlete that was able to play D1 ball and now very close to entering MLB. No easy accomplishments no matter how you spin it.

Good kid also. Here's a kid that only played 1 semester for us and we are all rooting for him.
