I'd imagine that they will have a very short leash with CC on Wednesday. He tends to struggle in the beginning of games, before finding it. If Kluber is on early, he can't afford to give up many first or second inning runs.

On that basis, I think he should be starting Sonny Gray, but CC has been proving everybody wrong all season.

Gotta go with your best available starter and although he is close to being a "five and fly guy"', CC has been their most consistent and solid starter after Severino. The majority of the bullpen will be fully rested except for Kahnle who still will have one day off after his dominate two inning stint.

Let's go boys.

PS - I think starting CC is a mistake, but I have been wrong before.

I'd go with Kahnle before Betances, I'm not saying it was his intention but it almost looked like he tried to hit first hitter up then Lindor, I mean how do you miss that bad?

Yeah, when Betrances loses it, it could be downright dangerous if you're a hitter.
 
I would prefer to have Judge not hitting in the 2 slot.

CC great job to start off, Robertson gets out of the jam in the fifth and he and Chapman shut them down.

Sir Didi set the tone in the first, followed it up his next at bat and Brett great at bat and huge clutch hit in the 8th with heads up base running and hustle to score the fifth run.

Just damn happy!!!!!
 
Sanchez never tagged out Kackson after dropping the 3rd strike and never tagged him. Fox replayed the reaction of several individual players and it looked like Frazier was pointing and shouting towards the plate (probably trying to tell Sanchez to tag him).

Jackson ran to the dugout. Rule would have allowed him to run to first, probably with no throw since I assume the first baseman was celebrating like everyone else. Could he have left the dugout and run to first?
