Urshela 3B
I have lineup envy.. Sanchez batting 7th!! damn.
Gardner only lefty in the lineup.
Don't forget about Didi. That makes two.

The only other lefty bat they are carrying on the bench is Wade. That's one of the reasons I was pushing for Ford over Voit.

The Yankees have been of the mindset all year, that their right handed bats can hit right handed pitching, and for the most part, they've been right, no pun intended.

wow. down 2 to zip.
I expected/feared a first inning twinkie home run.
poorly played defensive game, except for #99's 2 very, very good defensive plays.
the roster move was not voit over ford, but gio over ford/voit.
maybin's legs got him a roster spot. boone looking to run?
surprised to see happ pitching in the 8th.
I thought happ would be long relief insurance if a starter failed.
boone going with 3 man rotation?
o adam - please for Brooklyn/Italian American sake, have a good outing.
I cringed hearing that dj will be a top 5 mvp vote getter.
if the award is for best season, then let the elias sports bureau pick the mvp winner.
if its mvp, then dj is the man. because dj can play 1b-2b-3b, it allowed gio in lineup. mvp dj. mvp dj.
the speedster showing power again. power comeback of the year.
yankee stadium dimensions helped the twinkies more than the yanks. 340 foot homer.
run scored trumps homeruns.
great crowd. what a pure hitter Edwin is. parrot power.
both managers playing captain hook in game one, expect captain hook for every game.
yank bullpen has length.
imagine if yanks beat three 100 game winning teams for title 28. wow, wow, wow,

Great start to the playoffs. This is a fun group to watch. As for Happ and a 3 man rotation, that’s expected in a 5 game series...you only need 3 starters. Will be different in 7 game series.

I would rather see Romine play. Can't do any worse than 3 strikeouts and a passed ball!

And didi goes
BOOOOM!!!!!!!!
Grand f'ing slam baby
7-0
But we all know this is a warmup for the real series vs. Houston.
Not getting to giddy but still enjoying kicking the Twins ass.

playoff game 2.
bravo tanaka - well pitched game.
bravo boone for taking tanaka out after 5 innings & having the "b team" bullpen eat innings.
way to go adam o - one inning, no runs - although not a 1,2,3 inning.
yankee sticks glow.
kraken broke his slump with his first hit (by a pitch).
