Alabama (MSG), Sat., Nov. 8, 12 Noon, FS-1/ 1050 AM

I know it seems like Bama is hitting every 3 but they are 8/20 from three. Which is very good but hardly lights out. They missed 12 and were still down 8 at the half. This more about the inability of our guards to stick some shots and the inability of our guards to stay in front of their guards defensively.

Doesn't seem like Sanon is playing bad defense but they are having success going at him
None of the trio are playing anything resembling good defense; not to mention any offense either. Just said Bama guards are ahead 39-8 at the half but it actually is 39-6 according to the ESPN box score. They do have a field goal though, 1-10 from the field.

We defended it decently early on, although 'Bama made a handful of difficult or long shots. The issue is our guards can't stay in front of their guards and it's stretching our defense so to speak. So, the problem becomes twofold.
Agreed 1000% Dink I just posted something similar.

Ugh. 16 fouls on Bama and we're still losing. They're so hard to defend, especially their 3 point shooting. Great early season test.

We need some inside-out to get three point looks. Let Sanon get a high ball screen and pull up 5-7x.

Mitchell needs to wake up.

Ayo needs to be in 14 minutes this half.

The most valuable player on this poorly constructed roster is Dylan Darling.

Need to come out strong to start the 2nd half; bring back the momentum and get the crowd back into it. Shots have to start falling at some point. Keep attacking and racking up the fouls on Bama. Tire them out and those long threes will start to fall short.

Our spacing is too cooked for inside out to work here. Bama won't help off any of our guys that can shoot
