Ejiofor and Hopkins are almost our only scorers. The rebounding is tentative, our much anticipated three point shooting is nowhere to be found, our guard play is awful.

Sanon, Jackson and Sellers are not giving us enough on offense. That’s where the 3’s should be coming from. Not Ruben Prey.

Our ability to defend the three point shot is beyond disappointing. Bama can really shoot it.

We defended it decently early on, although 'Bama made a handful of difficult or long shots. The issue is our guards can't stay in front of their guards and it's stretching our defense so to speak. So, the problem becomes twofold.

Unless putting all eggs in darling basket, team simply does not have a PG. zuby and Hopkins as point forwards starting every possession 30’ from rim with a bull drive only viable scoring option not remotely sustainable.

The good news is being down 9 to this Alabama team is not like being down 9 to a Tony Bennett Virginia team.

The bad news is I think our only chance on defense is hoping they just start missing shots

Honestly…you’re probably right. But…we look like a team that’s not a team yet and Bama is shooting lights out.

We are not hitting any kind of stride until December the earliest and we’re playing a much harder SOS ooc so we have to weather that storm until the BE season starts. We’ll get it together.
