Aaron Scott Status

The way he was writhing on the ground when he hurt his knee, I was surprised that he was able to walk. Hope the week off does a body good.

I didn't realize he only played three minutes in the first half because I was so focused on all the turnovers. When he wasn't out there to start the second half I realized how not having him impacts the game. That was really clear to me today.

If he isn’t 100% next Saturday he should sit. We go nowhere without Aaron. If that isn’t obvious by now don’t know what to say. And it has nothing to do with his shooting percentage!
All ya gotta do is watch him play and know he's a good player

One of best glue guys in country

Aaron Scott, St. John’s: The Red Storm have three players — Kadary Richmond, R.J. Luis, and Zuby Ejiofor — who will earn All-Big East honors next week, but Scott has also had a major hand in this program’s revival under Rick Pitino. A capable defender and timely three-point shooter, the 6-8 Scott has regularly made big plays this season for St. John’s when his number was called. Keep a close eye on Scott during March Madness.

For a team to have a successful season- you need "Aaron Scotts'"... a kid who could have taken a Larger role at a smaller school... you get him to buy into being that 4th/5th option...key... well, I guess extra $$ to be that 5th option helps lol.

Important off-season item... who will be our Scott next year?... Ayo looks like he has the potential... potentially

Would highly doubt he's going anywhere but Dioubate is a Queens guy and only a soph.

Similar to Ayo, but the kid just hunts the ball on defense and on the glass to another level. Very important to a team full of scorers.
Roberts of Houston is a Marillac favorite. His teammate, Tugler, even more. Maybe we can steal that kid in the portal....he's only playing 21 minutes as a soph.

Would be surprised about Tugler from what I gather they’re very high on him down there.

Of course they are! He's a freaking monster player. If Marillac is spending Repole's NIL money, that's a top 3 addition. Talk about defensive versatility...wow.
