 And the staff strikes gold with their first commitment of the class of 2013 in getting a verbal from Aaliyah Lewis the 22nd ranked pg in the class of 2013 who was ranked number 96 overall pre-summer and then she went on to have a great summer.
Aaliyah is the third top 100 player to commit to SJU since Coach Tartamella took over but a few months ago.
An excellent pickup by our excellent staff.
For those who wish to see a roster of NYC Players note that Aaliyah is from Staten Island and plays at Bishop Ford Catholic High School.

Coach is waiting on the top prospect to announce where she will go and she is a front court player.
I guess you can't have enough good guards and coach is trying his best to get his share, and succeeding may I add.
He brought in an excellent big girl who started last year who was all BE Rookie team and 6 1 Sandra Odobi for this season who was a top 75 player in the class of 2012. What we desperately need is a high scoring forward for 2013 and we are certainly involved with the right player.
