A Message from Director of Athletics Mike Cragg

I am probably reading too much into it but I am glad when he offered support of Mike A it stopped at "this season". He said he thinks the coach can turn it around this year, but I thought he was going to add in "and we believe he is the right guy to be coach moving forward" and he did not. Hopefully that means.... something

You're right. But I guess I've come to just not expect much. I guess I just dont see any way an AD could come in and shake the mom and pop approach that the school has imposed for decades now. And maybe I just like Cragg because his predecessors set the bar very low.

All that being said. It's very fair to question the CMA extension. I just wonder if there was more to that decision that we are not aware of.
