Agreed, plus they already have Lee and that other guard Brown from Ohio. I can’t see this but if it does happen, I am going to be sick to lose 3 guards in the past 2 years to them that we would have wanted (Clayton, Lee, Fland). Could Lee decommit if this happened and go to another school?

The only way it adds up is if it’s a massive smokescreen by the staff, which makes the most sense to me.

He is considering the draft but he is still not a first round pick based on all the mocks as of today. Be that as it may, IF he comes back to college and gets paid 3 mil, there is no way we can’t be involved. I have read on these threads that we still have Lee’s money, which I would have to imagine is in this ballpark. I think there is a lot of misinformation out there but the bottom line is this, we try to get this kid if he comes back to college. Coach wants to win a ring, you put this kid at head of our offense and let him run it.

It’s an over the top move that makes us preseason favorites.

And we can argue that PG is still a need for our team no matter how much faith we have in Coach to make Ian a PG. And as much as we like Darling’s traits, he is still an unknown which means we have two unknowns at PG. Fland is the real deal and makes the team fully complete with no questions IMO. Part of me wants him to stay in the draft because I won’t be able to handle the drama of this playing out, especially if he goes to somewhere else like Florida. Getting to old for this stuff! 🤣

Rick losing a third consecutive lead guard recruitment to Florida/Golden is kind of crazy to imagine
 
I think Boogie makes us national champs. There's no way staff doesn't try.

Whether Boogie holds us in the same low regard as he did a year ago is another story. But there's absolutely no way we don't try. Don't think there's any way Jackson isn't in his ear either.
