2025-26 Rankings

SJU 13th

#13 St. John’s will be led by Zuby Ejiofor (#15 in the player ratings), but my expectations for some of the other key players are lower than most. Bryce Hopkins should be great when healthy, but it’s been a while since he was at his best. My model has some reservations about transfers Oziyah Sellers and Dylan Darling as well.

Right...predictions from someone who hasn't seen any of the teams practicing.

Issac Trotter (247) was not an AP voter last year, but the way he wrote this article implies he may be one this upcoming year? Not sure, but here are his rankings (only up to 10, past that requires a subscription):
#2 UConn

No Johnnies in the top 10 is obviously surprising, this may be the first poll (non-computer sim) where we're not there, but I'm still thinking we'll be around #5 preseason (the average from the other writers a few pages back).

Who cares, it's all opinions by so called experts that think they know it all.

I'm not an expert but we're going to itch slap everyone down smack, smack l, smack.

Then guess who'll be kings in April and on top of the world? Yep the world is ours.

See Rick do what he did on defense and bad shooters, imagine what he'll do with good offensive players.

I could do be wrong but I think something special is coming this year.
Time will tell.
